Vessel Tracking

The ability to simultaneously track multiple support vessels in a marine project is invaluable.  The operators and helmsmen, being able to see the position of their vessel displayed in relation to the other vessels, are able to make more informed and timely decisions regarding their vessel's movement.  This increases safety and helps reduce the risk of collisions.  Local and remote vessel tracking may also be used for: anchor handling tugs (AHT),  dumping barges, rig platforms and drilling platforms.  During anchor handling operations desired rig anchor positions can be displayed as well as the anchors status (deployed or racked) shown graphically.   A multitude of Information can be gained from tracking a dump barges dump status and position while enroute to the dump site.  By allowing the operator(s) of a support vessel(s) to see the position and orientation of the vessel they are positioning (rig, drilling platform or dry dock) in relation to its desired position improves the efficiency of the operation.
