Structure Placement

Marine Construction projects often involve the precise placement of structures such as submarine cables or pipes, marine piles, caissons, rig modules and bridge sections. Many times much coordination is required between the various helmsman (tugs), equipment operators (crane), surveyors and project supervisors as the structure is being positioned. During this time safety is paramount and time is of the essence. Having access to a user display interface accurately showing the position (centimeter level X,Y,Z with minimal delay and latency) and orientation of the structure in relation to its resting place can substantially reduce the amount of coordination and increase the speed at which the structure is placed.
